The Latest in Classic

It has been awhile and it has been very intrigueing for me lately. Tried to deviate from my comfort zone of pink and black....



I just recently visited London Fashion Weekend where big designers sold their items in a fraction of the retail price and local designers used the opportunity to showcase their specialties to London's most savvy fashionistas. I fell in love on the first glance with Roberto Cavalli's belt and chose that as my item of the moment. From then on, I started looking further into the brand. Well....purchased myself a red dress yayyy....of course still within Dewi style. Up to now, I still wonder whether I made the right choice and whether the dress really fits me...........(tried it last night and this morning too).

Ugh....confession of a shopaholic..... I am so in love with this dress, yet still don't know how to associate it with who I am...help!!!

Such beautiful to the point of theatrical. Even if I were to purchase a piece.... I have not yet the chance to mingle in a society classy enough to wear one.

Oh yes, I just recently purchased a vintage green Valentino dress as well. It is the epitome of elegance. I could not take my eyes of any Miss Valentino.

Coming to another personal "ME" post, a really good friend of mine once sent me me this picture with a smiley on the title...



I thought it was just another fashion picture he'd like to show me. So I gave my opinion saying it was a nice look.
Then he replied,"DID YOU NOT SEE WOT I SEE?".
"WOT?? NO".
"The 3 words…the shoes, the top, the girl with long hair?. DEWI!LOL, the…girl…is…Dewi!!!".

It still made me smile big up to now :)....

If I get married one day.....

.......I would like no less than Marchesa for my wedding dress. I also learned today that Keren Craig, one of the co-founders of Marchesa, is a University of Brighton graduate. Well done Brighton!

Shape your body ala Wolford

Lovely morning, some shine coming through the clouds. I promised myself I'd quit shopping for the good of mankind (or..me-kind, more like my wardrobe space). But I stumbled upon a brand that I was not familiar with before. It is named, Wolford, an international body and stocking company based in Bregenz, Austria. Wondering whether i am worthy to claim that i'm dedicated to the world of fashion, I went in and found the beautiful world of tights, hold-ups, and body suit. It's amazing! The products gave out the femme-fatale feeling. And it goes for those of you who want the clean-cut and powerful look.




The tights varies from sheer to opague, simple patterns to beautiful flower patterns.


So, Dewi, still striving hard to create that "perfect Dewi's wardrobe", decided to purchase one of Wolford's.

Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear

I can not believe how much fashion rules in 2008. This season, hmmm...I'm sure you start seeing flower prints and ruffles roaming on some main street in London eventhough...brrrr....as warm as it gets...I can still feel the chill of the wind blowing through my bones. Not only flower-prints though, the key of this season is BOLD. All you colors come out to surface. And when I mean bold, does not always mean that you have to wear all the bright colors, Hey! even nude can be bold ;).
This is my pick of dress from runway this week. Spring 2008 Ready-to-wear dress by Roberto Cavalli. By the way, bein edgy is a bit hard for day-to-day, but I reckon I might just be able to pull this look if I can loose just half of my shamefulness... Because this look by Chanel is just IT!
